I believe our mom was born to be an angel of children. I have learned a lot while she was in the nurseing home. I had no idea how many childrens lives she touched. we have heard so many wonderful tales of how she helped raise her sister Marie. She also helped her sister Genny and Lizzie with there children. She raised her own 5 Barbara Jean, Joe,Annie,Joan and Vivian,She pretty much raised 4 of her grandchildren Curtis, Kimberley, Ashley, and Alan. We lived really close so every time one did something wrong they would run to mema. They knew she would protect them from any punishment from standing in a corner to being grounded. Then came the great grandchildren She had 5 at the time of her passing Kenadi, Casadi,Ella,Grafton and Anthony. She didn't get to see all of them as often as she liked, but she loved and cherished all of them the same. Casadi lived the closest she was memas hair dresser, book reader and other things. mama would tell her the 5 little monkeys instead of the 4 monkeys and she would call them all by name.( you never new who was going to fall off and when)I can picture the smile in her eyes when she heard the laughter of all children.( I miss her so much.)
