Jean Packett Bareford, 84, of Kilmarnock, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018. She was a retired Cafeteria Manager for Rappahannock High School, drove the school bus for 37 years, and a member of Rappahannock Church of Christ. Jean loved her family and friends and enjoyed a good conversation.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie B. Ford (Danny) of Wicomico Church; son, Dean Bareford (Vicki) of South Prince George; brother, Neale Packett (Rosalie) of Farnham; two grandsons, Dan Ford and Vaughan Haywood and three great-grandchildren, Alexis, Christopher and Mackenna.
Jean is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard B. Bareford and her parents, Straughan and Gwendolyn Sisson Packett.
A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Welch Funeral Home-Marks Chapel with interment following at Farnham Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service.
