Ruth Kay Watson, 90, of Montross, passed away on December 23, 2016. Mrs. Watson was the widow of Fred William Watson, Sr., and a member of Nomini Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Fred William Watson, Jr. (Charlotte); four grandchildren: James Patrick “Jimmy” Watson (Corrie), David Kevin Watson (Janelle), Brian Mark Watson (Tina), and Amy Watson Martin (Bob); ten great-grandchildren: Jessica, Ashley, Jacob, Ryan, Haley, Alyssa, MacKayla, Hunter, Logan, and Erika; two great-great-grandchildren: Aiden, and Thomas; and a sister, Ethel Bell (Leonard). Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, December 28, at the Nomini Baptist Church in Montross, with interment in the Nomini Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., on Tuesday, December 27, at the Welch Funeral Home, Montross Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Nomini Baptist Church, P.O.
